Enquiry volumes in New South Wales accelerated through Q1, with January to March all showing strong growth and tracking above the 12month average.

This uplift reflects renewed buyer confidence and a rebound in activity following softer conditions late last year.

Q1 26 VIC MARKET UPDATE

Audience growth rebounded strongly in Q1, with January and February reaching the highest engagement levels recorded on OpenLot, a huge milestone for but also signalling a clear return of buyer demand.

Momentum softened in March following the February interest rate rise, alongside geopolitical uncertainty and ongoing cost of living pressures, leading to more cautious buyer behaviour.

Q4 25 NSW MARKET UPDATE

Coming off strong enquiry volumes from Q3 we saw momentum carried into early Q4, with October and November remaining above the long term average, indicating sustained buyer interest rather than a short term spike. While December softened slightly, this aligns with typical seasonal behaviour rather than a deterioration in demand.

VIC enquiries remained strong through Q4, although activity tapered toward the end of the quarter. Momentum has continued throughout the mid to back half of the year, highlighting a steadily improving enquiry environment across Victoria.
